College of Applied Anatomy College Foundations Simulation Training (CAA FDNS (MS4))
As part of their foundations course, fourth year medical students enrolled in the College of Applied Anatomy at the David Geffen School of Medicine will participate in full-scale simulation training. Students are given the opportunity to work in teams to diagnose and treat patients in an acute setting.
Course Objectives
- Discuss the principles of ABC in acute care management.
- Demonstrate the skills to manage various acute scenarios.
- Role-play a healthcare team responding to emergencies.
