Internal medicine residents will participate in mock codes and critical scenarios. This course provides residents with an opportunity to be the team leader as well as a supporting team member in managing various clinical situations.

Course Objectives

1. Discuss effective teamwork and communication skills during a code situation
2. Practice decision making and delegation in an acute situation
3. Develop technical skills useful in infrequently encountered clinical scenarios
