Primary Care College Foundations Simulation Training (PCC FDNS (MS4))

As part of the Primary Care College Foundations course, fourth year medical students will participate in simulation training. Students are given the opportunity to work in teams to diagnose and treat patients in various clinical settings. Students will practice management of cases commonly seen during internship.

Course Objectives

  1. Discuss the principles of ABC's in acute care management.
  2. Demonstrate the skills to manage various acute scenarios.
  3. Role-play a healthcare team responding to emergencies.
